By commercializing Italian genuine food products you contribute to a better knowledge of a healthy diet, very much in line with a modern understanding of what is not only good, but nourishing as well as non fattening and, above all, affordable.
As a member of the European Parliament you promote the Swedish values on the International level, with determination, enthusiasm and unlimited dedication.
You have reached a remarkable achievement in that you have succeeded in pleasing at the same time your two Countries: on one hand carrying with you the Italian cultural background, on the other projecting the Swedish life model among the Europeans.
You represent an ideal bridge between Italy and Sweden, contributing to develop the bilateral dialogue.
Moreover interacting with the local environment, as wife, mother, colleague and friend to many people, you honour your Italian origin.
For these reasons the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, has decided to bestow upon you the title of Grand Officer in the Order of the Star of the Italian Solidarity.
